YECAP Climate Negotiator Training Programme equipped young climate leaders across Asia and the Pacific with the knowledge and skills to navigate international climate negotiations. Held from 15-17 May 2023 at the UNDP Bangkok Regional Hub, the training was organized by UNFCCC RCC Asia-Pacific, YECAP, implemented by RCC Asia Pacific in collaboration with YOUNGO, the International Youth Climate Movement (UNFCCC's Children and Youth Constituency), and regional partners. Through expert-led sessions, participants deepened their understanding of UNFCCC processes, key negotiation topics, and national climate policies, preparing them to engage meaningfully in COP discussions and climate decision-making at all levels.
