CLIMATE JUSTICE DIALOGUE

Asia Regional Dialogue on Climate Justice

Asia Regional Dialogue on Climate Justice brought together children and young people from across Asia from 28-30 May 2022 to voice their perspectives, ideas, and concerns on climate justice. Organized by UNEP, OHCHR, UNICEF, and UNDP alongside civil society partners, this first-of-its-kind dialogue provided a dedicated space for youth to discuss advocacy strategies, share local experiences, and contribute to regional and global climate decision-making. Participants explored youth representation in negotiations, engaged in risk assessment training, provided input for Stockholm+50, and learned about General Comment 26 on children's rights and the environment—ensuring their voices shape a just and sustainable future.
